Covid-19 information

Presentation of the health protocol implemented in France Langue schools

Our schools are open! (with the exception of school in Martinique) !

Update : 12/02/2021

Dear students,

2020 was definitely a year of uncertainty for international education, however the recent great news about the decrease of number of COVID cases in France, and the announcement of the soon to be available vaccine keep us hopeful.

Following the recent announcements from the French government, we are happy to confirm that we will be able to welcome our students back to our schools on Monday January 4th.

France Langue Biarritz will open on Monday March 1st (arrival at the accommodation on Sunday February 28th).

France Langue Martinique will remain closed for a couple more weeks. We will of course keep you informed of the reopening date as soon as possible.

Even though the situation is improving, we have to stay careful and respect the strict sanitary protocol recommended by the French government.
Please check the French government website regularly for updated information: : https://www.gouvernement.fr/info-coronavirus

The whole team at France Langue has worked hard to make sure they can welcome our students in the best conditions possible.

The programmes at France Langue

We will be running a blended programme, combining face to face classes in our physical schools and in our virtual school: FL OnLine School.

The additional workshops (intensive, super intensive, exam preparation courses etc.) along with private lessons will take place online, taught by our qualified team of teachers.

The organisation of the classes

In Paris, the timetable will be adapted to make sure we limit the number of people at school at the same time. All our classes will have a mix of on-site and online classes each week (for example: 3 days at school / 2 days online). Each class will receive its timetable during a welcome meeting organised at the school on the first day.

The Au pair programme due to start in Paris on January 4th will start online before moving back to its normal hybrid format beginning of February if the sanitary situation allows it.

In Nice, Bordeaux and Lyon, all our programmes will resume mainly onsite, however the additional workshops along with private lessons will take place online, taught by our qualified team of teachers.

The sanitary conditions

We will strictly respect the protocol imposed by the French government on training centers.
Here are some important things to remember:

  • Minimum distance of 1 meter between each student
  • Wearing a mask is mandatory for teachers and school administrative staff
  • Wearing a mask is mandatory for students both in class and in the common areas as well as in
    the school hallways.
  • Provision of hydroalcoholic gel throughout the school
  • Closing of common areas (student area, drinks dispensers, water fountains etc.)
  • Cleaning of premises twice a day by our cleaning team
  • Airing of the rooms between each class and at each break

>> remember to come to school with your mask! Only a few masks can be distributed to those who do not have them.

All of our sanitary rules will be posted in the common areas.

Finally, we remind you of the barrier gestures that will be applied within our schools.

Let’s fight together against Covid-19
